Award Logo Licensing

My company was named a winner in an award list. Can I use the logo on my website?

Yes, but you must acquire a licence first. Using our award logos (such as The Sunday Times Best Places to Work or The Times Best Law Firms) requires official permission. We offer flexible licensing packages that allow you to use these logos on your website, email signatures, brochures, and social media to showcase your achievement.

How do I get access to the official high-resolution award logos?

You need to register your interest on our website.

  1. Navigate to the specific award page on our site.
  2. Fill out the “Request Access” form.
  3. Once your eligibility is verified, we will send you a password or approval to access and purchase the official assets.

Can I just download the logo from the internet and use it?

No. The logos for our brands and award schemes are protected intellectual property. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited. Purchasing an official license ensures you have the legal right to use the brand, protects you from copyright infringement, and provides you with high-quality, vector-format files suitable for print and digital use.

What kind of “due diligence” is involved?

We conduct strict due diligence on all new partnerships to protect the integrity of our brands. Any new or emerging use cases for our logos may also require formal approval from the respective editorial department before a license is granted.

Do you offer framed awards or merchandise?

Yes, we can help with licensing for bespoke and off-the-shelf merchandise to display your awards. Please contact our team to discuss specific merchandise requirements.

How long does a licence last?

Licensing agreements are typically for a specific agreed-upon period (e.g., 12 months from the award win). The specific terms will be outlined in your licensing agreement.

Reprints & E-Prints

What is the difference between a Reprint and an E-Print?

  • E-Print: A digital PDF version of an article or supplement featuring your company. It is optimized for distribution via your website, email newsletters, or social media.
  • Reprint: A physical, high-quality hard copy of the article. These are ideal for handing out at conferences, keeping in your reception area, or including in direct mail packages to clients.

Can I customise the article reprints?

Yes. We offer customised versions for both digital and print distribution. We can add your company branding, logo, or contact details to the reprint to make it a more effective marketing tool for your business.

Why should I buy a reprint instead of just photocopying the newspaper?

Photocopying or scanning newspaper articles for business distribution is generally a violation of copyright law (NLA regulations). Buying an official reprint or E-Print grants you the legal right to distribute the content. Furthermore, official reprints look professional, are high-resolution, and can be branded to suit your needs.
