  • Top 50 Software Companies — fastest-growing independent, UK-headquartered software firms ranked by three-year revenue growth (CAGR).
  • Top 50 Hardware & Other Tech Companies — fastest-growing independent, UK-headquartered non-software tech firms (e.g., hardware, devices, deep-tech, cleantech) ranked by three-year revenue growth.
  • Special recognitions (vary annually) — occasional editor/partner awards highlighting standout achievements among the 100 (e.g., firms recognised at the inaugural Tech awards dinner).

How to Enter

To enter The Sunday Times Hundred Tech awards:

  1. Check eligibility: You must be an independent, privately owned, UK-headquartered technology company (software or non-software) showing strong three-year revenue growth and meeting the latest revenue thresholds.
  2. Register your entry: Go to the official Sunday Times Hundred Tech entry page when entries open and request/complete the online form before the stated deadline.
  3. Submit your data: Provide company details plus three years of revenue figures (for CAGR calculation), along with any supporting information requested (e.g., headcount, sector, funding).
  4. Verification: The organisers review and verify submissions (and may follow up for clarification) before compiling the software and non-software top-50 lists.
  5. Outcome: If selected, your company will be featured in The Sunday Times Hundred Tech; you’ll receive inclusion details and approved brand assets for promotion.
